Service Coördinator

  • On-site
    • Singapore, Central Singapore, Singapore

Job description

Location: Wijk bij Duurstede, The Netherlands

In short

As a Service Coordinator at AEGIR-Marine, you operate at the heart of a truly global organization. On any given morning, you might catch up with colleagues in Singapore, check in on an urgent request in Panama, or align with shipyards in Namibia. From the moment an incoming service request arrives until the final invoice is sent, you take full ownership of the end-to-end process. You coordinate, solve problems, and communicate clearly to keep vessels operational worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

You manage the complete lifecycle of incoming service requests and act as the vital link between clients, our sales department, and our service engineers:

  • Process incoming service requests, dispatch (Senior) Service Engineers, monitor field execution, and ensure accurate administrative and financial wrap-up—including final invoices.

  • Create optimal engineer schedules, coordinate subcontractor support when needed, and manage travel and safety logistics.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and Service Engineers, keeping all stakeholders aligned with clear, solution-oriented phone and email communication.

  • Monitor budget execution, handle warranty or service claims, and actively contribute to the commercial success of your assigned region.

  • Once fully onboarded, you will participate in the rotating weekend stand-by schedule (every few weeks) to handle emergency requests and be the point of contact with our engineers, for which you are well-compensated.

What We Offer

  • A strong salary aligned with your experience, plus attractive additional compensation for participating in the weekend on-call rotation.

  • 27 vacation days plus 13 ADV days (40 total days off per year based on fulltime) based on the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement (CAO).

  • Option to participate in our company share purchase scheme upon receiving a permanent contract.

  • Option to get a lease bike once you secure a permanent contract.

A warm, informal, and international working environment with short communication lines and great colleagues.

Learning & Growth

At AEGIR-Marine, we believe that great careers are built from within. You don't need to arrive as an expert — you need to arrive with ambition. As your knowledge and experience grow, so will your responsibilities. Over time, you can develop from coordinating individual service requests to taking ownership of larger customers, regions and increasingly complex service operations.

We invest in people who want to grow. Through the AEGIR Academy, hands-on training and close collaboration with experienced colleagues, you will build technical, operational and commercial knowledge step by step.
