To further strengthen our presence and growth in the Middle East and Africa, we are looking for a Regional Director MEA (Middle East & Africa), based at our office in Dubai. 

Your Role 

As Regional Director at AEGIR-Marine, you will be the driving force behind our presence in the Middle East and Africa. Based in our Dubai office, you will lead operations across both Dubai and Namibia, positioning AEGIR-Marine as the trusted partner in propulsion and stern tube seal solutions throughout the region. 

In this role, you will translate our vision into growth plans and high-impact service initiatives, ensuring our customers experience the very best of what we offer. You will build lasting partnerships with our stakeholders as clients and partners, to strengthen AEGIR-Marine’s position. You will define the commercial direction, driving growth and market share, while empowering regional teams to build a customer-focused and future-ready organization. 

This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute AEGIR-Marine’s regional strategy, combining commercial growth with operational excellence to secure long-term success in a region full of opportunity. 

Your Responsibilities Include 

  • Leading our regional offices in Dubai and Namibia, driving sustainable growth and strengthening our position in the MEA region. 

  • Actively contributing to revenue targets and market share expansion within MEA. 

  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery, guaranteeing reliable 24/7 support for our customers. 

  • Developing and coaching teams, transferring knowledge and encouraging a culture of collaboration and independence. 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners in the maritime industry. 

  • Representing AEGIR Marine at international trade fairs, conferences and within relevant industry organizations. 

  • Driving structural growth by identifying and seizing opportunities to expand our impact in the Middle East and Africa. 

Your Profile 

  • At least 10 years of commercial and operational management experience in an international (preferably maritime) environment. 

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage. 

  • Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong commercial instincts combined with technical insight. 

  • Strategic mindset  

  • An inspiring leader who motivates and develops teams. 

  • Intercultural sensitivity and the ability to bridge between MEA and our other regional offices  

  • Personality: Results-oriented, independent, reliable, and future-focused. 

Location 

Your base location will be Dubai, including provided housing. And you are willing to travel frequently within the MEA region.
