As a Propulsion Engineer, you are the face of AEGIR‑Marine at the service location. The way you communicate, act, and collaborate with the customer directly shapes how AEGIR‑Marine is perceived. You are the trusted expert for our customers when it comes to propulsion systems. You don’t only service propulsion systems, you also analyse technical issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure the level of quality AEGIR‑Marine stands for, wherever it is needed. 

About your work 

As a Propulsion Engineer, you focus on servicing, analysing, supporting and improving propulsion systems both remotely and on site. Your role includes: 

  • Providing high-quality service and technical support to customers on propulsion systems, either independently or in collaboration. 

  • Analysing technical issues and translating them into practical solutions. 

  • Travelling to shipyards and vessels worldwide to execute on-site service. 

  • Working with a wide range of propulsion systems, including CPP, thrusters, seals and bearings. 

  • Preparing technical reports and advising customers on maintenance and optimisation.

About you 

  • Experience in mechanical or maritime engineering. 

  • Experience with servicing propulsion systems like thrusters and CPP systems. 

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. 

  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team. 

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written. 

  • Willingness to travel abroad. 

  • Car driving license
