Logistics Administrator

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated Expedition administrator for our headquarters in Wijk bij Duurstede. 

Your Function 

As a logistics administrator, you will have a varied and challenging role. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Processing pick lists, requests, and orders. 

• Arranging shipments with our regular carriers, from Rotterdam to Singapore and beyond. 

• Coordinating urgent shipments, for example, ensuring a package arrives the next day at the destination. 

• Handling the administrative tasks related to shipments and collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines. 

• Responding to inquiries from colleagues and customers regarding logistics. 

• Organizing the warehouse mailbox 

Other relevant aspects of this role we are looking for: 

• You are proactive and have strong communication skills. 

• You take responsibility, are solution and service oriented. 

• You are administratively strong, with the ability to organize and structure tasks effectively. 

• You have experience in logistics operations. 

• You are stress-resistant and can adapt well to the dynamic maritime industry. 

• You are flexible, including during phone duty, and can provide occasional logistical support in the warehouse (this might sometimes be required outside regular working hours). 

• You have a good command of the English language. 

• You have experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. 

• You possess MBO-level working and thinking capabilities, gained through education and/or work experience. 

• You ideally live near Wijk bij Duurstede. 

YOUR PROFILE 

• MBO level in Warehousing or logistics 

• 0-5 years’ work experience; 

• Knowledge of the English language (verbal and written).
